Join us as we talk to Luke Fischbeck about his new book, Beyond Majority Rule, published by Hesse Press.

Luke Fischbeck is an artist, composer, and organizer who designs and tests structures for collaboration.

He is a contributing member of the group Lucky Dragons (with Sarah Rara), founder and principal organizer of Sumi Ink Club (a platform for collaborative art) and KCHUNG Radio (a collectively-organized broadcast project), managing director of the non-profit arts organization Human Resources, and a member of the steering committee for The Los Angeles Contemporary Archive.

His work, solo and in collaboration, has been presented at the Whitney Museum of American Art, MoMA/PS1, the Centre Georges Pompidou, the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, London’s Institute for Contemporary Art, LACMA, MOCA, and the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, the 54th Venice Biennale, and The Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, among others.
